Differences from successor models
The difference between the AII and DII series is the performance of the spin motor, which is the heart of the AII series.
The AII series spin motors have more power and performance and can handle heavier substrates than the previous models, with higher rotational accuracy and faster acceleration.
The vacuum pump and specimen holder used for the DII series can continue to be used for the AII series.

Successor model ACT-220AII: AC servo motor 200W, 0-7000rpm, rotational accuracy ±1rpm
When continuously used at 5000 rpm or more, the sample stand tends to warm up a little due to heat conduction from the motor.
Old model ACT-220DII: DC motor 80W, 300 to 8000rpm, rotational accuracy ±3rpm
There are also advantages when 8000 rpm is required or when continuous operation is performed at 5000 rpm or more.
